Polyethylene hydrocarbon separators

Description

INZA polyethylene hydrocarbon separators are used for the pre-treatment of hydrocarbon-laden water, separating and retaining hydrocarbons and light liquids before discharge to the network. Manufactured in accordance with EN 858-1 (CE marking), Class I (discharge below 5 mg/L) by means of coalescing lamellar blocks.

Operation

The first compartment retains coarse particles (sand and grit). The separator compartment is sized to achieve a discharge below 5 mg/L according to EN 858-1, by coalescence in lamellar blocks. It includes an automatic shut-off device calibrated for hydrocarbons of density 0.85.

Design

Polyethylene tank made by rotomoulding. Coalescence through lamellar blocks. PVC inlet and outlet connections.

Mechanical workshops, vehicle wash centres, scrapyards, fuel distribution areas and car parks.

Options

Hydrocarbon, sludge and high-level alarm system. Threaded polyethylene risers 40 cm high. Load-bearing covers for vehicle traffic (class C250 and D400). Installation of a hydrocarbon alarm to EN 858 is recommended.
