Water storage tanks are the solution for storing and reserving water in homes, communities, farms, industry and services: mains, well or rainwater, for consumption, irrigation, fire reserve or processes.

At Inza we offer a wide range: glass-fibre reinforced polyester (GRP) cisterns, horizontal and vertical, for burial or above ground, and polyethylene (PE) tanks, cylindrical and vertical. Capacities from 100 litres to 50,000 litres, with options suitable for drinking water and specific models for rainwater harvesting with a filter kit.

Supply: delivery time to be confirmed, depending on the size and component stock.

Transport included in the price, excluding the unloading means at destination; for capacities over 5,000 L, please ask.

We answer your questions about our water tanks

Glass-fibre reinforced polyester (GRP) cisterns, horizontal and vertical, for burial or above ground, and polyethylene (PE) tanks, cylindrical and vertical. With capacities from 100 to 50,000 litres, options suitable for drinking water and specific models for rainwater harvesting with a filter kit.

Yes, we have models made with materials suitable for contact with water for human consumption. For drinking-water use it is essential to choose the right model and follow the health regulations, as well as carrying out periodic cleaning and disinfection. Tell us the intended use and we will recommend the correct tank.

It depends on the consumption or the reserve you want to guarantee (number of people, irrigation, agricultural or industrial use, autonomy against cuts). As a guide, for a home 1,000 to 5,000 L is usually enough; for irrigation or collective use, larger capacities are used. Tell us your case and we will size the solution.

A buried tank saves space, protects the water from light and temperature and is ideal when there is no room above ground; it requires works (excavation, sand bed and, if there is a water table, a slab and anchoring). An above-ground tank is cheaper and easier to install and maintain. We choose with you according to the space, the ground and the use.

On a compacted, levelled sand bed; in ground with a high water table or clay, a concrete slab is laid and the tank is anchored with straps to stop it floating. The backfill is done with sand while it is filled with water, in layers, to balance the pressures. The inspection manhole must remain accessible at the surface. Always follow the unit’s manual.

Yes. Polyester (GRP) and polyethylene are highly resistant to corrosion, UV rays and temperature changes, with a long service life. Buried models are designed to withstand the ground pressure when installed according to the manual.

Maintenance is minimal: check the condition and the connections and carry out periodic cleaning and disinfection, especially if drinking water is stored. The inspection manhole makes internal inspection and cleaning easier.

Yes. We have rainwater harvesting tanks with a filter kit and pressure unit, to reuse rainwater for irrigation, washing down or WC flushing, reducing mains water consumption. There are horizontal and vertical versions, with different levels of equipment.

It depends on the model and the installation. Some tanks accept light loads if installed correctly (with a load-distribution slab and a suitable cover), but for vehicle traffic reinforcements and specific elements must be provided. Ask us about the conditions of your location and we will tell you the solution.

How water tanks work

A water tank stores and protects the water until it is used, keeping it away from light and dirt to preserve its quality. Its operation is based on a watertight design with the appropriate connections:

  • Inlet / filling: from the mains, a well, a pressure unit or rainwater collection.
  • Storage: the tank body (GRP or PE) keeps the water protected; closed models prevent light entry and evaporation, curbing algae growth.
  • Outlet / supply: by gravity or through a pressure unit that provides flow and pressure to the installation.
  • Accessories: an inspection manhole for checking and cleaning, an overflow, ventilation and, for rainwater, a filter and pressure unit.

Buried models make use of the ground and keep the water cool; above-ground models make installation and maintenance easier.

Advantages of water tanks

Inza water tanks combine capacity, durability and guarantee:

  • Efficient and safe storage, with watertight bodies that protect water quality.
  • Durable materials: glass-fibre reinforced polyester (GRP) and polyethylene (PE), resistant to corrosion and weather, with a long service life.
  • Options for drinking water and specific models for rainwater harvesting.
  • Wide range: horizontal and vertical, for burial or above ground, from 100 to 50,000 litres.
  • Easy installation and low maintenance, with an inspection manhole for checking and cleaning.
  • In-house manufacturing and technical advice to choose the right model and capacity.

Why choose Inza water tanks?

Choosing Inza water tanks means opting for a reliable, tailor-made solution. We manufacture polyester (GRP) cisterns and polyethylene tanks, for burial or above ground, with capacities from 100 to 50,000 litres, and we advise you on the choice of material, the capacity, the type of installation and the accessories (pressure unit, rainwater kit, manholes and covers).

Important notice: for the storage of water for human consumption, a tank made of materials suitable for drinking water must be used and the applicable health and installation regulations must be respected (filling, protection and periodic cleaning/disinfection). The information on this page is indicative; we help you select the most suitable equipment for your use.
