Inza Light Access Covers

Ultralight watertight covers available in various sizes, with a fillable or pavement-ready finish, made of aluminum and composite. Their innovative design eliminates the need for mortar, reducing their weight by up to 70% compared to traditional steel covers.

Inza Light A

Fillable covers with an aluminum and composite body. For paving with the finished floor, avoiding the need for mortar or concrete, and achieving a 70% lighter solution, greatly facilitating its opening. There are 2 possible heights for filling with flooring: 24mm and 15mm.

Inza Light B

Ultralight watertight hinged covers made of aluminum and composite, suitable for paving. Significant weight savings compared to access covers for concrete infill. The hinges reduce the effort required for opening, facilitating access to inspection chambers that need to be opened frequently.

Inza Light C

Ultralight watertight access cover with maximum ease of opening thanks to its gas pistons that assist in opening and closing by counterbalancing the cover. These are the most suitable covers for access points that need to be opened frequently by a single person without requiring effort.

What types of watertight access covers do we offer?

Inza Light: Watertight Aluminum and Composite Covers

Ultralight watertight covers of different sizes, with fillable or pavement-ready finishes, made of aluminum and composite, which avoid the use of mortar to reduce their weight by 70% compared to conventional steel covers. They can be of 3 types:

Inza Light A. Watertight pavement-ready covers screwed at 4 points
Inza Light B. Hinged covers to facilitate opening, reducing the effort required for their operation
Inza Light C. Hinged covers with gas piston-assisted opening that counterbalance the cover and facilitate its opening, avoiding any effort.

Covers made of aluminum and composite are suitable for use in humid areas as they have good corrosion resistance. Thanks to this characteristic and their low weight, they are suitable for access to swimming pool treatment plants.

Their design features a very high-quality finish. The surface is very attractive, particularly the visible edges. The corner joints are very discreet and facilitate the connection of tiles, slabs, etc.

Assisted Access Covers for Load Class D400

Watertight manhole covers that support heavy traffic load class. With assisted opening and closing to allow them to be opened without machinery. Assisted opening not connected to power supply. They operate autonomously. With security lock for restricted access points. With possibility of internal emergency opening. Made of steel, both galvanized and stainless.

Access Chambers for Autonomous Electrical Supply

Access chambers with autonomous electrical supply to power equipment installed in locations without grid connection. They are equipped with a solar panel and an electrical panel for equipment connection. The cover is watertight and assisted.

What is a watertight cover?

It is a frame and cover assembly with a special seal to prevent an inspectable access chamber from causing bad odors from the sanitation system.

Access covers can be fillable, plain, or plain anti-slip. Concrete-ready or pavement-ready covers allow for the same finish across the entire pavement. All covers are made of steel at least 2mm thick. Anti-slip covers are finished with 5mm steel. We have reinforced covers and frames for access chambers and inspection points located in areas with vehicular traffic.

It is also possible to incorporate a drain or a gully into the access covers.

Are watertight access covers the same as manhole covers?

Although both terms refer to covers used in drainage and sanitation infrastructure, they have some differences:

Manhole Covers: these are covers used to access sanitation networks, electrical conduits, or underground systems. They can be made of different materials and have varying resistance levels depending on their use (pedestrian, light, or heavy traffic).

In summary, all watertight access covers are manhole covers, but not all manhole covers are watertight.

When are watertight steel covers used?

Can they withstand vehicular traffic?

Yes. There are pedestrian versions and reinforced versions to withstand vehicular traffic.
