Description
INZA hydrocarbon separators in glass-reinforced polyester (GRP) with an integrated bypass combine a sludge trap and a hydrocarbon separator. The bypass treats the nominal flow and diverts peak flows, optimising the installation. In accordance with EN 858-1 (CE marking), Class I (discharge below 5 mg/L).
Operation
The grit chamber retains solids; the separator, with coalescing cells, ensures a discharge below 5 mg/L according to EN 858-1. The bypass diverts peak flows above the nominal treatment flow.
Design
GRP tank (glass-reinforced polyester). Resistance class 1d to NF P16-451-1/CN. Polypropylene lamellar cell blocks. Automatic shut-off device calibrated for density 0.85. PVC inlet and outlet connections. Polypropylene covers with Ø600 mm clear opening.
Advantages
CE marking to EN 858-1. Integrated bypass for peak flows. High mechanical strength and efficient coalescing cells. Buried installation.

Roads and tunnels, car parks, retail parks, service stations, ports and airports.
Options
Hydrocarbon, sludge and high-level alarm system. Load-bearing covers for vehicle traffic D400. Risers. Installation of a hydrocarbon alarm to EN 858 is recommended.
