Compact screw mini-screen (AquaMTSF) installed in a prefabricated rectangular GRP chamber, for fine solids separation in the pretreatment of urban and industrial wastewater. The auger captures, conveys, drains and compacts the solids and discharges them straight into a container. Filter basket and screw in AISI 304 stainless steel, with 2 or 5 mm mesh opening. No prior pumping required.

Description

The INZA screw mini-screen (AquaMTSF) is a compact fine-screening unit mounted in a prefabricated rectangular GRP chamber. It is designed to extract, convey and compact the solids in urban and industrial wastewater whose size exceeds the mesh opening (2 or 5 mm). The wastewater passes through the screw and the auger lifts the solids to discharge them straight into a container, reducing the solids load reaching downstream equipment.

Design and materials

  • Body: rectangular GRP chamber.
  • Filter basket, solids conveying tube, sliding plates and fasteners in AISI 304 stainless steel.
  • Screw flight in high abrasion-resistant SINT® technopolymer.
  • Drive shaft in high-strength FE 510 steel.
  • Aluminium flanges.
  • Finish: pickled, passivated and degreased.
  • Working angle: 70°.
