INZA PD Polymer Concrete Drainage Channels for Heavy Traffic

INZA PD polymer concrete drainage channel with D400 cast iron grate for heavy truck traffic. External widths of 130, 200, 250, 300, and 350mm. Grates are bolted onto steel side profiles. These are prefabricated channels for buried installation on site, designed to collect runoff water from paved platforms using a dual-slope system, simplifying installation compared to conventional point drains or gully traps. Channels with grates for trucks offer extraordinary resistance and can collect water in areas subject to truck traffic.
A channel with a grate for truck traffic connects to the next via a tongue and groove joint that can be sealed to achieve a watertight connection. All pieces have pre-marked points for opening outlets of various diameters to connect to drainage pipes.
Other channels are available in different widths and with grates of various load classes. D400 ductile iron grates are manufactured to withstand truck loads. They have a length of 500mm and are bolted to the polymer concrete channel body with 4 screws. Ductile iron grates feature a highly resistant black paint finish. Polymer concrete channels are manufactured in 1000mm sections, thus requiring 2 grates per unit. Polymer concrete is a mixture of aggregates with resins, providing the channel with high resistance and lower weight. Additionally, the non-porous surface prevents erosion problems with the drained liquids. The resins in the mixture give the channels a very low roughness coefficient, which increases drainage speed, achieving better hydraulic capacity results and requiring a smaller size to evacuate the same flow rate, while also promoting greater sediment transport in a self-cleaning effect.
