Description
Polyethylene septic tank for the primary treatment of wastewater similar to domestic, by anaerobic processes. In the absence of oxygen, anaerobic bacteria settle and digest the organic matter, gasifying, hydrolysing and mineralising it, achieving 70–85 % removal of organic matter.
Operation: the septic tank pre-treats the water before a biological treatment or its discharge. It consists of chambers for the settling and anaerobic digestion of sludge and floating matter.
Design: polyethylene tank produced by rotational moulding, resistance class 1d according to NF P16-500-1/CN. PVC inlet and outlet connections and a Ø 620 mm threaded PE inspection cover. The treatment complies with Spanish discharge regulations (Water Act, RD 509/1996) and the conformity under Annex ZA of EN 12566-1.
Advantages: linear polyethylene with anti-UV additive, easy installation, with horizontal and vertical reinforcements for greater resistance to ground pressure.
Maintenance: emptying and cleaning must be carried out once a year by an authorised operator (removal of sludge and floating matter from the settler-digester); afterwards, fill the unit with clean water.
