Compact unit combining septic tank and biological filter, made of glass-fibre reinforced polyester (GRP), for secondary (biological) treatment of domestic wastewater, from 4 to 60 population equivalent. Produces an effluent suitable for discharge to a watercourse. Compliant with EN 12566.

Description
GRP septic tank with biological filter for the biological treatment of wastewater similar to domestic from small and medium communities, achieving good performance thanks to the combination of two processes for the degradation of organic matter: anaerobic and aerobic.
Operation: it consists of three chambers. The first two settle and digest the organic matter (anaerobic process) and the third houses a biological filter where the aerobic biomass that completes the purification develops.
Design: made of glass-fibre reinforced polyester (GRP), with PVC connections and threaded inspection covers. A compact, sturdy unit, adaptable to the ground.
Maintenance: emptying and cleaning must be carried out once a year by an authorised operator (removal of sludge and floating matter from the settler-digester) and pressurised water must be passed through the biological filter; afterwards, fill the unit with clean water.
