Manufactured from high-density polyethylene (HDPE) by rotational moulding \u2014a process that produces a seamless single-piece unit\u2014 it features an internal siphon wall and a PP screw-on lid for an airtight seal with no odour loss. Compliant with EN 1825-1 with CE marking, resistance class 1d.<\/p>\n<h4>How it works<\/h4>\n<p>The difference in density between contaminants separates the water into two phases: large solids (food scraps) settle on the bottom of the separator, while fats and oils float to the surface due to their lower density. The internal siphon wall retains the grease layer and prevents it from reaching the discharge pipe. Commissioning: fill with clean water until it overflows through the outlet pipe (repeat after every emptying).
